AVIATION AMENDMENT ACT NO. 83 OF 1969 [ASSENTED TO 18 JUNE, 1969][DATE OF COMMENCEMENT: 27 JUNE, 1969] (English text signed by the State President) as amended by Liquor Act, No. 87 of 1977 ACT To amend the provisions of the Aviation Act, 1962, relating to definitions and the making of regulations; so as to provide for the sale of intoxicating liquor, in or on certain premises at aerodromes established by the State, for consumption outside the Republic; and to provide for incidental matters. 1. Amends section 1 of the Aviation Act, No. 74 of 1962, by substituting the definition of “aircraft”. 2. Amends section 6bis of the Aviation Act, No. 74 of 1962, as follows:—paragraph (a) substitutes subsection (1); and paragraph (b) adds subsection (6). 3. Amends section 22 of the Aviation Act, No. 74 of 1962, by inserting subsection (1) (nA). 4. Amends the Aviation Act, No. 74 of 1962, by substituting certain words wherever they occur in the Afrikaans text of that Act. 5. . . . . . . [S. 5 repealed by s. 212 (1) of Act No. 87 of 1977.] 6. Short title.—This Act shall be called the Aviation Amendment Act, 1969.
