NATIONAL ROADS AMENDMENT ACT

ACT

To amend the National Roads Act, 1971, in order to provide for 
the transfer of certain land to the National Transport 
Commission and the exemption of the said commission from 
the payment of certain duties and fees in connection with the 
acquisition and transfer of land; and to provide for incidental 
matters.

1.   Amends section 3 of the National Roads Act, No. 54 of 
1971, as follows:— paragraph (a) substitutes subsection (2) (a); 
paragraph (b) substitutes subsection (2) (d); and paragraph (c) 
adds subsections (4) and (5).

2.   Short title.—This Act shall be called the National Roads 
Amendment Act, 1974.
