NATIONAL ROADS AMENDMENT ACT

ACT

To amend the National Roads Act, 1971, so as to supplement 
the manner in which written information of certain steps taken 
in regard to land shall be furnished to the owner of such land; 
and to provide for the acquisition of certain land to provide for 
the requirements of users of national roads; and to provide for 
matters connected therewith.

1.   Amends section 3 (2) of the National Roads Act, No. 54 of 
1971, as follows:— paragraph (a) substitutes paragraph (c); and 
paragraph (b) inserts paragraphs (cA) and (cB).

2.   Amends section 5 (1) of the National Roads Act, No. 54 of 
1971, by inserting paragraph (aA).

3.   Amends section 8 (1) of the National Roads Act, No. 54 of 
1971, by inserting paragraph (aA).

4.   Short title.—This Act shall be called the National Roads 
Amendment Act, 1980.
