NATIONAL ROADS AMENDMENT ACT

ACT

To amend the National Roads Act, 1971, so as to make 
provision for the imposition of a certain levy for the benefit of 
the National Road Fund on the sale or supply of petrol and 
distillate fuel; and to provide for matters connected therewith.

1.   Amends section 2 of the National Roads Act, No. 54 of 
1971, by inserting subsection (1A).

2.   Short title and commencement.—This Act shall be called 
the National Roads Amendment Act, 1983, and shall come into 
operation on a date fixed by the State President by proclamation 
in the Gazette.
