NATIONAL ROADS AMENDMENT ACT NO. 58 OF 1985 [ASSENTED TO 24 MAY, 1985][DATE OF COMMENCEMENT: 5 JUNE, 1985] (Unless otherwise indicated) (English text signed by the State President) ACT To amend the National Roads Act, 1971, so as to make further provision in respect of certain moneys payable to or from the National Road Fund; and to provide for matters connected therewith. 1. Amends section 2 of the National Roads Act, No. 54 of 1971, as follows:—paragraph (a) deletes subsection (1) (a) (date of commencement 1 April, 1985); paragraph (b) deletes in subsection (1A) (h) the definition of “Republic” (date of commencement 1 April, 1985); and paragraph (c) adds subsection (3) (c). 2. Short title and commencement.—(1) This Act shall be called the National Roads Amendment Act, 1985. (2) Section 1 (a) and (b) shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1 April, 1985.
