ROAD TRAFFIC AMENDMENT ACT NO. 17 OF 1992 [ASSENTED TO 3 MARCH, 1992][DATE OF COMMENCEMENT: 28 SEPTEMBER, 1992] (Afrikaans text signed by the State President) ACT To amend the Road Traffic Amendment Act, 1991, so as to delete the commencement date of the provisions relating to the compulsory keeping and producing of drivers’ licences in certain circumstances; and to provide for matters in connection therewith. 1. Amends section 30 of the Road Traffic Amendment Act, No. 73 of 1991, as follows:—paragraph (a) substitutes subsection (1); and paragraph (b) deletes subsection (4). 2. Short title and commencement.—This Act shall be called the Road Traffic Amendment Act, 1992, and shall come into operation on a date fixed by the State President by proclamation in the Gazette, which date shall not be later than 1 January 1993.
