ROAD TRAFFIC SECOND AMENDMENT ACT NO. 66 OF 1993 [ASSENTED TO 17 JUNE, 1993][DATE OF COMMENCEMENT: 1 AUGUST 1993] (Afrikaans text signed by the State President) ACT To amend the Road Traffic Act, 1989, so as to provide that certain drivers’ licences issued under the road traffic ordinance and which became invalid, may be exchanged for valid drivers’ licences subject to certain conditions; and to provide for matters connected therewith. 1. Inserts section 24B in the Road Traffic Act, No. 29 of 1989. 2. Short title and commencement.—This Act shall be called the Road Traffic Second Amendment Act, 1993, and shall come into operation on a date fixed by the State President by proclamation in the Gazette.
