ROAD TRANSPORTATION AMENDMENT ACT

ACT

To amend the Road Transportation Act, 1977, so as to further 
define the expression “decentralized industry”; with regard to 
the conveyance by a decentralized industry of its own goods; 
and to provide for the making of regulations concerning the 
conveyance of exempted goods; and for matters connected 
therewith.

1.   Amends section 1 of the Road Transportation Act, No. 74 of 
1977, as follows:— paragraph (a) substitutes in subsection (1) 
paragraph (a) of the definition of “decentralized industry”; 
paragraph (b) substitutes subsection (2) (v); and paragraph (c) 
substitutes in subsection (2) (z) the words preceding 
subparagraph (i).

2.   Short title.—This Act shall be called the Road 
Transportation Amendment Act, 1982.
