ACT

To amend section 9 of the South African Transport Services 
Act, 1981, so as to further arrange the general powers of the 
South African Transport Services; to amend sections 59 and 61 
of the said Act so as to provide for higher penalties; and to 
provide for incidental matters.

1.   Amends section 9 of the South African Transport Services 
Act, No. 65 of 1981, by substituting subsection (26).

2.   Amends section 59 (1) of the South African Transport 
Services Act, No. 65 of 1981, by deleting paragraph (v).

3.   Amends section 61 of the South African Transport Services 
Act, No. 65 of 1981, by inserting paragraph (j).

5.   Short title.—This Act shall be called the South African 
Transport Services Amendment Act, 1986.
