class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Mandate of the ITP Branch:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-size:16px;font-style:normal;font-weight:200\">Manage and facilitate national transport planning, related policies and strategies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:16px;font-style:normal;font-weight:200\">coordinate regional as well as inter-sphere relations including providing economic modelling and analysis of the sector<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The ITP Branch mandate is executed through the following five Chief Directorates and their objectives.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-size:16px;font-style:normal;font-weight:200\"><strong>Macro Sector Planning<\/strong><br>To ensure a long term, sustainable and integrated multimodal transport systems planning to guide investments across all spheres of Government<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:16px;font-style:normal;font-weight:200\"><strong>Research and Innovation<\/strong><br>To conduct research and monitoring of the transport sector for innovation and sustainability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:16px;font-style:normal;font-weight:200\"><strong>Modelling and Economic Analysis<\/strong><br>To enhance funding, economic performance and transformation of the transport sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:16px;font-style:normal;font-weight:200\"><strong>Regional Integration<\/strong><br>To coordinate the development and implementation of regional transport strategies in order to facilitate regional integration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li
