Pothole Patching initiative in Potchefstroom on Thursday, 14 August 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Vala Zonke initiative aims to fix potholes across South Africa through labour-intensive measures&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Part of this programme is to ensure the Department of Transport improves the condition index of local and provincial roads<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery
