The visit aimed on raising awareness and promote safer road practices ahead of the Easter weekend, which typically sees a spike in traffic accidents.
Minister Creecy and Deputy Minister Hlengwa engaged with taxi drivers and commuters, supported by SANRAL’s ONE/1 Campaign, which emphasizes personal responsibility on the road.
Minister was joined by MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Mr Xolile Nqatha and various CEOs of road entities along with other transport stakeholders
