In a landmark move for South African infrastructure, the Minister of Transport, Ms. Sindisiwe Chikunga, officially handed over the completed R23 national road project in Standerton, Mpumalanga Province, on Monday, 5 February 2024.

The handover ceremony highlighted the importance of the R23 road for local and regional connectivity, showcasing the government’s efforts to enhance transportation links and accessibility.
